The multi gingham 100% linen is lovely quality and perfect for a summer top. It has enough structure to hold pleats but not so much as to make gathers awkwardly stiff. It has washed and ironed easily and does not seem to have shrunk much at all. I am looking forward to sewing with it and even more to wearing it. De Linum is my first stop when I’m looking for beautiful linens.

The tape is excellent quality—it doesn’t stretch and holds its shape well. However, the 1/16-inch markings are a little difficult to read. Highlighting every ¼ inch in a darker colour would make the tape much clearer and easier to use.
The hand of this fabric will be perfect for the dress I have in mind. Love the colour and the tiny print is very classy.

I ordered several swatches as I was trying to perfectly match a colour/fabric - the swatches arrived very quickly and beautifully presented. None were quite right for this project but so lovely that I will create another project - if the gorgeous fabric hasn’t sold out! I’ll be shopping here again.

Soft and beautiful but much darker in person
It is a beautiful colour and feel. The colour in the photo is not remotely accurate - it is very pink, slightly purple - not even remotely deep plum IMO
