I requested 2 swatches for fabric for curtains. They came on separate cards (with description attached including width, GSM and LEA) within a folder of information "Know your Linen" explaining weight, yarn fineness and care. A very useful package :)

The images online looked pretty clear but I did want to see a few embroidered linens. The swatches arrived presented nicely and with fabric care instructions. I was happy to see that the swatches were just what I’d hoped for. It’s a great idea to order if you just need that extra reassurance.

It was a pleasure to find such a stunning collection of linen fabric online! The Cocoa linen extra wide was purchased because I fell in love with it! The linen quality is excellent and was a dream to sew with. My daughter needed a maternity tunic and a pair of wide legged pants. I have a list of home furnishings to complete in the coming months and will be buying the extra wide linen for those projects. Extremely happy with website, ordering , delivery and quality . With alot less in-store fabric purchasing happening I loved that I could order swatches to see the fabric before making decisions.
Particularly liked the very clear material information on swatch samples for the varying fabric weight. Colours were reasonably accurate to online images but would definitely recommend ordering the swatches for future projects if looking for very specific colours as it was easy and affordable.
My first order with De Linum did not disappoint. This fabric was beautiful, true to colour, a dream to sew and great quality.
I received this quickly, and the fabric is delightful. I then ordered 2m which arrived within a day or two, washed well and is ready to sew. Colours are true to photo and Delinum’s service is fantastic!
